Extended Operating Time

A new firmware upgrade for the System 824 enables the

use of high capacity individual NiMH cells. The combination of

enhanced firmware and state-of-the-art rechargeable cells can

extend the operating time by as much as 50% over that

obtained with the cell pack originally supplied. Not only do these

cells provide a longer operating time, but their recharging time

is reduced to as little as fifteen minutes using advanced charging

units available from major manufacturers.

Microphone Preamplifiers with TEDS

Larson Davis now offers three state-of-the-art microphone preamplifiers supporting TEDS to IEEE P1451.4. The ICP powered ¼" PRM422 and ½" PRM426 are for use with prepolarized microphones, while the PRM905 is appropriate for use with microphones requiring a polarization voltage.
