Soundbook® is our Type 1 notebook for all measurement tasks in sound and vibration. Now with Type-approval certificate under German law. On the basis of the rugged and miniaturized industrial Panasonic CF-18 notebook, our engineers have created a universal acoustic measuring instrument that is extremely compact and powerful.
Due to its complete compatibility with HARMONIE®, the user can choose from a large number of software solutions with respect to application and budget. Therefore, we offer Soundbook in three versions with two, four and eight channels respectively.
Soundbook not only allows measurements, but also enables mobile office work with all standard software packages. With its IP 54 protection rating and MIL specifications, Soundbook can also be used under harsh conditions.
Due to modern circuit design and advanced DSP technology, the power consumption of the Soundbook expansion is less than 3 W.
The modern design and low power consumption make a cooling fan unnecessary. Network interface card, modem, USB and RS232 are already integrated. The touchscreen and touchpad allow comfortable operation in every position. The PC with its Intel Centrino® processor runs Windows 2000/XP. Linux can be installed as an alternative operating system.
